“Bridgerton” Star Actress Nicola Coughlan to receive Canneseries Commitment Award

The Irish actress will be honored for her contributions to television at the 2025 Canneseries Festival.

Nicola Coughlan, best known for her role as Penelope Featherington in “Bridgerton”, will be receive the Konbini Commitment Award at the 2025 Canneseries festival.

 

The award, presented annually by the French media company Konbini, recognizes creative talents whose work demonstrates exceptional quality and innovation.

According to reports on March 11, Coughlan, who gained International prominence with “Derry Girls”,will accept the honor on stage at the Lumière Theater in Cannes on April 28, 2025. She joins past recipients such as Sex Education creator Laurie Nunn, American Horror Story actress Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, and Transparent showrunner Joey Soloway.

 

The Canneseries Festival, a week-long celebration of television excellence, is set to take place from April 24 to 29, 2025.
