The wait is over for “Finding Me”, the latest film from Nollywood powerhouse Funke Akindele, which is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on March 17.
Described as a powerful journey of self-discovery, “Finding Me” boasts a star-studded cast featuring Femi Adebayo, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Joseph Benjamin, Omowunmi Dada, Omoni Oboli, Shaffy Bello, Dele Odule, Efa Iwara, Abdulgafar Abiola (Cute Abiola), Tina Mba, Sharon Ooja, and Ifeanyi Kalu.
Co-directed by Akindele and Isioma Osaje, the film marks another milestone for Akindele’s production company, Funke Ayotunde Akindele Network (FAAN), which has delivered some of Nollywood’s biggest box office hits. Her most recent theatrical release, Everybody Loves Jenifa, premiered in December 2024 and performed strongly at the box office, continuing the success of the beloved Jenifa franchise.
Akindele, one of Nollywood’s most successful filmmakers, has built a legacy of blockbuster films and award-winning performances. With “Finding Me”, she continues her storytelling journey, this time through the lens of self-discovery and personal growth.
