Nigerian artists Johnny Drille and Fireboy DML are set to storm the music scene once again with their highly anticipated new track “Angelina.” It will be available on all streaming platforms this Friday, on Apr. 11.
In a recent one-minute Instagram reel, Drille teased the upcoming release with the caption, “Go on and call it THE SONG OF THE YEAR. This record with @fireboydml is special. See you on Friday.” In a similar fashion, Fireboy posted the song’s release on his Instagram story, fueling the palpable anticipation.
Drille’s heartfelt melodies combined with Fireboy’s dynamic lyricism will no doubt send the single straight to the top of the charts.
While details about the song’s composition remain under wraps, “Angelina” will showcase a blend of introspective storytelling and rhythmic, danceable beats. From the teaser, fans will be mesmerized by its theme of love and its catchy melody.
