Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck’s seventh studio album, “The Machine Is Coming,” has topped Spotify Nigeria’s weekly chart.
According to Album Talks on X, the 16-track project’s debut was among the biggest of 2025, second only to Seyi Vibez’s “Children of Africa” and besting Ruger’s “Blown Boy Ru” and Joeboy’s “Viva La Vida.”
As of the time of this writing, “The Machine is Coming” has accumulated roughly 67.8 million streams throughout its one-week lifespan. The bulk of these numbers come courtesy of the singles “Juju,” which features Smur Lee and Shallipoppi, and “Pity This Boy” with lent vocals from Victony.
The latter track, released on Feb. 7, has currently surpassed 20 million streams on Spotify and is the third most streamed of the week on Spotify Nigeria with 1.3 million streams.
Odumodu is no stranger to chart-toppers and astronomical streams. Back in December, “Funds” which saw him sing alongside Davido and Chike, not only reached the summit of Spotify Nigeria’s Daily Charts but had the second largest daily stream peak – behind Wizkid’s “Kese.”
