“Another Simple Favor” Brings Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick Back Into Murderous Mayhem

“Another Simple Favor,” the sequel to the hit black comedy film, “A Simple Favor” is set to premiere on Prime Video on May 1, 2025.

The film first had its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film and TV Festival (SXSW) on Mar. 7, 2,025, where it received stellar reviews from critics.

Paul Feig returns as director for a sequel that puts Emily (Blake Lively) and Stephanie (Anna Kendrick) at the center of another murder investigation, this time at Emily’s lavish wedding to millionaire Dante Versano (Michele Morrone) in Capri, Italy.

“Another Simple Favor” boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Lively, Kendrick, Morrone, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Elena Sofia Ricci, Alex Newell, and Allison Janney.

The film is the product of a joint venture between Amazon Studios and Lionsgate Films, with the former acting as its sole distributor. Filming took place in Italy and wrapped in early 2024. Feig and Laura Fischer serve as producers.
