The long-awaited sequel to the beloved Africa Magic series “Before 30” is finally here.
“After 30” is set to premiere globally on Prime Video on May 9, 2025, but fans will get an exclusive first look at the 2025 NollywoodWeek Film Festival in Paris on May 8.
In this anticipated sequel, “After 30” follows the lives of four Nigerian women as they tackle love, friendship, and the societal pressures that come with navigating life in their thirties. As they chase their career dreams and pursue personal growth, the series challenges the outdated notion that a woman’s worth is determined by her relationship status.
The drama celebrates modern women who are rewriting the rules and living life on their own terms.
Damilola Adegbite, Beverly Naya, Meg Otanwa, and Anee Icha reprise their roles as Temilola, Nkem, Aisha, and Ama, respectively.

Directed by Omorinsojo Spaine and co-written by Spaine, Bibi Ukpo, and BB Sasore, the romantic comedy promises to continue the journey of these dynamic women.
The original “Before 30” followed the lives of four women in their twenties, confronting society’s pressures, such as the expectation to marry before thirty. “After 30” will reveal how they’ve evolved, whether they’ve overcome those pressures, or if they’ve succumbed to them.
Fans can also catch the eight-part series of “Before 30” on Prime Video before the sequel drops.
