The “John Wick” spin-off recruits Ana de Amas in the lead role.
“Ballerina” is set to premiere in theaters on June 6, 2025.
The film introduces a new protagonist to the “John Wick” franchise as Eve Macarro (Ana de Amas) takes center stage as a vengeful ballerina-turned-assassin.
Set between the events of “John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum and “John Wick: Chapter 4.” Eve takes on New York City, gun in tow, as she hunts down the men who killed her father. Along the way, she encounters challenges and gets help from familiar faces in the franchise.

The film stars Amas, Angelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Catalina Sandino Moreno, David Castañeda, and Choi Soo-young. John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves, will also appear in the film.
Directed by “Underworld” veteran Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten ( “John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum, “John Wick: Chapter 4”), “Ballerina” promises to usher “John Wick” fans into a new era of the franchise—one where women finally take the lead—while introducing new audiences to a world filled with action, chaos, and carnage.
Lionsgate serves as the film’s official distributor. As part of the film’s promotion, singers Amy Lee and Halsey have released the cutting-edge single“Hand That Feeds” on all streaming platforms.
