In the latest episode of the internet’s “Lover or Not” game is Eva Apio. The Ugandan-British model was captured holding hands with Asake in a Parisian street on May 16, 2025. The internet proceeded to do what it does best: shipping.

wrote David Anthony on X, to which Eva herself, on her handle @evssofficial, denied with the words: “I was never his girlfriend.”
Then the internet did the second best thing it does: finding receipts. And find it did!
One user in particular, @DemoofUK, started a “5 Times You acted like you was Asake’s Girlfriend” thread. In it were multiple pictorial and video evidence of Eva and Asake grooving couple-style.
“Girl, you’ve made more cameos than Asake’s Ex Girlfriend and his alleged BM combined. Bro got more photos with you than he has with Olamide or Yhemolee. And you say you were never his girlfriend. Disembark…” was his final tweet.
