Keke Palmer and SZA Set to Return for “One Of Them Days” Sequel
American actresses and singers Keke Palmer and SZA are set to return in the upcoming sequel to the comedy hit “One Of Them Days.” It was revealed on June 5, 2025 that the sequel is currently in early pre-production.
The first film debuted with an impressive $11.8 million opening in January 2025 and went on to gross $51.8 million worldwide, becoming a breakout success.
Directed by Lawrence Lamont and written by Syreeta Singleton, “One of Them Days” followed the story of two best friends, Dreux and Alyssa, who must avoid eviction and save their friendship after Alyssa’s boyfriend spends their rent money.
In addition to Palmer and SZA reprising their roles, the original creative team — including Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, and Keyla Monterroso Mejia — is also expected to return.
Plot details and a release date for the sequel remain under wraps.
