The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN) has officially announced the fourth edition of the Nigeria Electronic Media Content Exhibitions and Awards (NEMCEA), scheduled for September 17-18, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.

The two-day event is expected to attract leading figures from Nigeria’s television, radio, film, digital content, advertising, and media buying sectors, positioning itself as the country’s foremost media industry gathering.

In a press announcement, EMCOAN President Mr Adeniji Omirin highlighted the event’s growing significance in Nigeria’s media landscape.

“NEMCEA in its fourth edition has become the definitive platform for showcasing, networking, and celebrating excellence in Nigeria’s vibrant electronic media landscape,” Omirin stated. “NEMCEA 2025 promises to be bigger, bolder, and even more impactful than the other three editions thus far.”

NEMCEA 2025 will feature four main components designed to drive industry collaboration and recognition as the event will host high-impact exhibitions showcasing Nigerian electronic media content and production capabilities, alongside inspiring panel sessions led by industry thought leaders and changemakers.

Strategic networking opportunities will connect participants with decision-makers in content licensing, media buying, advertising, brand management, and regulatory bodies. The program will culminate with the NEMCEA Awards ceremony, recognizing excellence and innovation in Nigeria’s media and creative sectors.

Project Director Alayande Stephen T. revealed that this year’s central theme focuses on “Sustainable content creation in a fragmented media landscape.” The conference will tackle critical industry issues including audience engagement strategies, cross-sector collaboration, African content monetization, and technology-driven storytelling.

“The media landscape is fragmented. Our audience is everywhere, and nowhere. But sustainable content creation isn’t a myth – it’s a necessity,” Stephen explained. “Join us to be a partaker and benefit from the massive opportunity that NEMCEA 2025 brings on board.”

Industry professionals can register for the event through the official NEMCEA website, with options for participation as attendees, exhibitors, or sponsors. EMCOAN plans to announce detailed exhibition information, award nominees, and keynote speakers at an upcoming world press conference.

The event has secured support from major industry stakeholders including Zee World, the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Ibom Air, Nigeria Copyright Commission (NCC), and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

NEMCEA 2025 positions the event’s growth as Nigeria’s foremost media content marketplace, highlighting the country’s increasing prominence within Africa’s broader entertainment and media ecosystem. The platform further provides brands with strategic exposure opportunities while allowing participants to identify emerging trends, present their content offerings, and establish themselves as influential forces driving industry growth.

EMCOAN functions as the coordinating body for producers and content owners working across Nigeria’s television, radio, and digital media landscape.
