The former housemates are gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable reunion later this month.
Big Brother Naija has announced the highly anticipated reunion show for Season 9, “No Loose Guard,” which will premiere on June 22, 2025. The announcement comes a month after auditions for Season 10 closed, and filming for the reunion began several weeks ago. Production has been underway, with former housemates staying at a designated hotel facility as they prepare for the reunion special.
Season 9 made history as the first-ever duo season, featuring pairs including twins Wanni and Handi Danbaki, Ozee and Ocee Mbadiwe, sisters Onyeka and Chizoba Chigbo, best friends Samuel “Sooj” Osuji and Christopher “Topher” Bassey, Anita Ukah and Nnenna “Nelly” Mbonu, aunt and niece duo Nne and Mary Nwafor, and married couple Kassia and Kingsley Sule. Kellyrae (Kingsley Sule) ultimately won the season.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as host for what marks his eighth consecutive season hosting the franchise. The show’s official social media pages have been teasing the return of the infamous “parrot” – a show element known for revealing housemates’ hidden secrets and stirring controversy during the reunion.
The reunion will air Monday through Friday on DStv’s Africa Magic Showcase and GOtv’s Africa Magic Family channels. It promises to be filled with drama and tension as former housemates come together to address unresolved issues and share their post-show experiences.
The reunion will feature highlights and memorable moments from the season, which delivered drama, romance, conflicts, challenging tasks, and unexpected twists from “Biggie.”
This reunion serves as a precursor to Big Brother Naija Season 10, themed “Certified,” which is expected to launch in July following the conclusion of the reunion show.
