“Ms Kanyin” to Debut June 27 as Amazon Prime Supernatural Thriller

Nemsia Studios’ latest film, “Ms Kanyin,” is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 27, marking another addition to Nigeria’s growing catalogue of direct-to-streaming thrillers.

The supernatural mystery directed by Jerry Ossai and features an ensemble cast led by Temi Otedola, Michelle Dede, Kanaga Jnr, and Demola Adedoyin.

The film was first teased on June 21, with a full trailer unveiled three days later. Positioned as a supernatural thriller, “Ms Kanyin” follows events inside a seemingly flawless school community, where the breaking of a single rule triggers the release of a dark force long hidden beneath the surface. As the plot unfolds, layers of fear, mystery, and buried secrets begin to emerge.

The film’s narrative leans into themes of secrecy, consequence, and the supernatural, exploring how one misstep can awaken forces far beyond human control.

Joining the cast are Natse Jemide, Tolu George, Queen Damilola, Aduke Shittabey, Kalu Ikeagwu, Keppy Ekpenyong, Blessing Onwukwe, and Francis Onwochei.
