After months of anticipation, Kemi Adetiba has released the official trailer for her upcoming Netflix crime thriller, “To Kill A Monkey” (TKAM).
The eight-part series follows Efemini, a man driven to the edge by poverty and desperation, as he is forced to make impossible choices in a fight to survive.
First teased in April 2025, the trailer made its full debut on June 26, delivering on Adetiba’s long-promised reveal.

The series signals another high-stakes project from Adetiba outside her successful “King of Boys” franchise, retaining her signature tone of tension, power struggles, and emotional intensity.
Starring William Benson in the lead role, “To Kill A Monkey” features an ensemble cast of established and emerging actors, including Bucci Franklin, Stella Damasus, Bimbo Akintola, Chidi Mokeme, Lilian Afegbai, Ireti Doyle, and Teniola Aladese.
The show continues Adetiba’s reputation for building gritty narratives rooted in Nigerian realities, with “TKAM “poised to delve into themes of crime, family dynamics, and social inequality.
