The Canadian rapper now holds 81 top 10 entries, the most in chart history.
Drake Debuts at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100 With “What Did I Miss?”
Drake has debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 with his latest single, “What Did I Miss?”, extending his lead as the artist with the most top 10 entries in the chart’s history.
Released on July 5, 2025, the surprise single earned 22.6 million streams, 3.6 million in radio airplay impressions, and sold 6,000 units in its first week, according to Billboard.
This new entry brings Drake’s total number of top 10 hits on the Hot 100 to 81, further distancing him from Taylor Swift, who sits in second place with 59.
“What Did I Miss?” also debuts at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs, Digital Song Sales, Hot Rap Songs, and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. It is the lead single from his forthcoming album Iceman, which was recorded alongside his recent collaborative project with PARTYNEXTDOOR, Some Sexy Songs 4 U.
The song arrives in the wake of Drake’s public feud with Kendrick Lamar. In the lyrics, he references industry peers who, according to him, remained silent during the controversy.
Despite its strong debut, the track was unable to top the Hot 100, where Alex Warren’s “Before You Leave Again” holds the No. 1 spot for a sixth non-consecutive week. Drake, who hasn’t had a solo No. 1 since “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole in 2023, has promised to return to the top “one song or another.”

The rapper recently headlined the 2025 Wireless Festival in London, performing to over 150,000 fans across three sold-out shows. He was joined on stage by Rema, Darkoo, 21 Savage, Lauryn Hill, and Central Cee.
