FilmJoint, a Nigerian platform dedicated to promoting high-quality short films, has partnered with the Novella Film Festival, a prestigious London-based event celebrating short filmmaking.
The announcement was made via FilmJoint’s official Instagram page, which highlighted the importance of the partnership.
“Novella is driven by quality storytelling, empowering filmmakers whose stories and communities are not represented on screen,” the post read.
The Novella Film Festival accepts submissions from around the world in ten diverse categories, each offering a £1,000 cash prize.
FilmJoint says the partnership underscores its commitment to empowering Nigerian filmmakers and creating a profitable market for their short films.
