Xavier Ighorodje Reveals Cast, Announces Release Date For “Gingerr”
The cast members for upcoming Nollywood feature, Gingerrr has finally been revealed as it is set to premiere on September 26 across Nigerian cinemas.
On August 20, the film’s screenwriter Xavier Ighorodje shared details about the Nollywood project via Instagram, alongside a cast reveal video.
In addition to the previously announced cast comprising Bolaji Ogunmola, Bisola Aiyeola, Wumi Toriola, and Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie), Gingerrr features a lineup of both veteran and rising stars in Nollywood.
The recently revealed cast members include: Shaffy Bello, Odunlade Adekoya, Adedimeji Lateef, Timini Egbuson, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Shammah Agah, Akinyoola Ayoola (Kamo), Adebowale Adebayo (Mr Macaroni) and Emeka Okoye.
Gingerr, directed by Yemi Morafa (Filmboy) of Showmax’s hit series Wura and faith based drama The Wait, will be distributed nationwide by Cinemax.
As the upcoming drama joins the lineup of star-studded Nollywood titles to anticipate in September, the plot details are still under wraps.
