Admissions hit 1.84 million as titles like Ori: Rebirth and Iyalode drive growth.
The Nigerian Box Office has crossed the N10 billion mark in 2025, recording 1.84 million admissions so far this year.
According to statistics released on August 31, the figure represents a significant jump from 2024’s N6.4 billion earnings and 1.59 million admissions. This translates to a 58% increase in revenue and a 16% hike in admissions.
Driving the surge are titles such as Muyiwa Ademola’s Ori: Rebirth, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, Reel Love, and Toyin Abraham’s Iyalode, which have dominated the charts in recent months.
Industry analysts speculate that admissions could hit the 3 million mark before the end of the year, setting a new milestone for Nollywood and reinforcing the growing appetite for Nigerian films.
