The Kannywood series directed by Dan Hausa will officially begin season 2 on October 8.
Kannywood Director Kamilu Ibrahim, best known as Dan Hausa, has officially announced that the second season of Wata Shida, translating to Six Months, will premiere on YouTube on October 8, 2025.
The upcoming Kannywood series, which Hausa earlier described as his most personal project, have also received sponsorship from Indomie and Ameer Foods as it is set for a new season
Wata Shida, produced by Kannywood’s Hayatuddeen Yakubu of Tawakkaltu, centers on Zara, a strong-willed character, who escapes a forceful marriage.
As the premiere date for Wata Shida season 2 approaches, fans anticipate the series that marks yet another upcoming project from the Kannywood director.
