The Afrobeats artiste maintains his stronghold on the Turntable Artiste 100 for a third consecutive week, driven by the sustained performance of his debut album Catharsis.
Fola has topped the Turntable Official Artiste Top 100 for the third straight week, covering September 12 to 18, 2025.
The feat follows the remarkable streaming success of his debut album Catharsis, released on September 4.
The project opened with 10.66 million Spotify Nigeria streams in its first week — the highest-ever debut for a Nigerian artiste on the platform, surpassing Zinoleesky’s Gen Z with 8.94 million streams.
Catharsis also debuted at No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria and No. 2 on Spotify’s Global Top Album Debut Chart, marking the highest global ranking ever for a Nigerian debut album.
Since release, the album has remained within the Top 5 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Album Chart and accumulated more than 80 million Spotify streams, underscoring Fola’s rising influence within Afrobeats and his reach across international audiences.
With continued momentum and sustained listener engagement, Fola extends his lead on the Turntable Artiste 100, cementing his status as one of Nigeria’s most consistent new acts this year.
