The Nollywood thriller continues to dominate the Nigerian box office as it edges closer towards hitting the N300 million mark.
“Gingerrr” Maintains Box Office Dominance for Third Consecutive Week
Now in its third week, Gingerrr continues to dominate the Nigerian box office, holding the number-one spot for the third consecutive week.
The heist thriller, directed by Yemi Morafa and produced by an all-women team including Wunmi Toriola, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie), Bolaji Ogunmola, and Bisola Aiyeola, has now grossed ₦262.1 million. The film, which also stars its executive producers, is edging closer to the ₦300 million benchmark.
On October 13, Kiekie announced the latest box office update on Instagram, celebrating the film’s continued lead across nationwide theatres.
Gingerrr’s strong performance comes as Demon Slayer: The Infinity struggles to cross the ₦200 million mark in its fifth week, despite an impressive opening that set a record for the highest-grossing anime debut in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another ranks third after three weeks, with earnings at ₦52.6 million. New releases this week include Trons: Ares, which opened with ₦30.6 million, and Nollywood title Almost Perfect, debuting at ₦7.5 million.
According to Box Office data for October 10–12 (shared October 14), the top six films are as follows:
