Imoh Umoren’s “Almost Perfect” Earns ₦10.2 Million in First Week at Nigerian Box Office

Imoh Umoren’s romantic drama Almost Perfect has made a solid entrance at the Nigerian box office, achieving a seven-figure debut week.

The film, which follows a young woman who leaves her small town to pursue her fashion dreams in Lagos—only to realize her greatest challenge lies within—opened on October 10 with a ₦6.9 million weekend gross, according to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN).

Over the course of the week, Almost Perfect maintained steady daily earnings under ₦1 million, bringing its first-week total to ₦10.2 million (October 10–16). This performance placed the film at No. 4 on the Nigerian box office chart, trailing only Gingerrr, Tron: Ares, and One Battle After Another.

Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Detola Jones, Omowunmi Dada, Eso Dike, Kate Henshaw, Liquorose, Obinna Okenwa, Bimbo Manuel, and Toke Makinwa, Almost Perfect’s second weekend hangs in the wake of Osamede’s entry.
