Anibok Studios’ upcoming action drama King of T3MA is scheduled for theatrical release on November 14 and 15, 2025.
Screenings are planned across major Ghanaian cities, including Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast.
Set against the backdrop of Ghana’s port city of Tema, the film follows a tense, character-driven narrative that examines the extent to which individuals go to secure a better life for their loved ones.
Produced by Anibok Studios, the film follows a young man who delves into Tema’s criminal underworld to pay off hospital bills and gambling debts. Set in the vibrant city of Tema, the action drama offers a raw and emotional look at survival, sacrifice, and morality within Ghana’s urban landscape.
According to the studio, the film’s mission extends beyond cinematic viewing pleasure. Its creators aim to give Ghanaian men a voice “both to resonate with audiences who can relate to the protagonist’s struggle, and to share their identity with the wider world, offering a true representation of the Ghanaian spirit.”
“KING OF T3MA” was created by the de Graft-Johnson Brothers and directed by Kohima de Graft-Johnson, CEO and founder of Anibok Studios. The film stars Fred Amugi, David Osabutey, Karl Sackeyfio, Kingsley Yamoah, Kweku Elliot, and Melvin Dain.
Originally conceived as a four-part series meant to take Ghanaian stories to the global stage, the project was later reimagined as a feature film. After a brief delay from its initial September 2024 date, “KING OF T3MA” is now set for its November 2025 theatrical release.
