Toyin Abraham Stars in Family Drama “Tare,” Set for October Debut
The upcoming family drama Tare, directed by Okechukwu Oku and Stanley Obi, will officially debut in Nigerian cinemas on October 24. The film stars Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham in a leading role.
Set within a typical Nigerian household, Tare delves into the painful themes of betrayal and abandonment, exploring how fractured family bonds can leave lasting scars of pain and resilience.

The ensemble cast includes Jide Kene Achufusi, Nosa Rex, Fred Ariko, Young Charles, Chukwuemeka Elijah, Precious Obahor, Tracy Obahor, Gregory Odiakosa, and Ibinabo Fiberesima.
Executive-produced by Tracy Obahor, the film will be distributed across Nigeria by Blue Pictures Film in collaboration with Tracy Obahor Productions.
Tare opens in cinemas nationwide on October 24, 2025.
