Ariana Grande Returns for “American Horror Story” Season 13
Ariana Grande is joining the cast of American Horror Story Season 13, marking her return to working with series creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk nearly a decade after starring in their horror-comedy series Scream Queens.
The announcement was made on October 31 via the Ryan Murphy Productions Instagram page, confirming that the upcoming season will premiere on Halloween 2026 on FX.
Grande, who next appears in Wicked: For Good, joins an ensemble of returning American Horror Story regulars, including Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Jessica Lange.
Lange’s return marks her first appearance in the anthology series since Apocalypse in 2018, making the new season one of the most anticipated installments among fans.
The most recent season, Delicate, aired from September 2023 to April 2024 and starred Roberts, Lourd, Grossman, Kim Kardashian, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Denis O’Hare, Cara Delevingne, Julie White, and Maaz Ali.
American Horror Story was created by Murphy and Falchuk in 2011. Halley Feiffer served as showrunner on Season 12 and executive produced alongside Murphy and Falchuk. The anthology series, produced by 20th Television, is known for its interconnected storylines and rotating cast of ensemble regulars.
