The Canadian popstar will release the deluxe edition of her third studio album on November 21, 2025.
Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae has announced the release of the deluxe version of her third studio album, So Close to What. In an Instagram post, she revealed that it will arrive on November 21, 2025, marking the end of what has been an incredible album era for her.
There’s no word yet on how many new tracks will appear on the deluxe version, but it’s likely to include “TIT FOR TAT”—her surprise drop from September 2025—which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became her third top ten single on the chart.
So Close to What was originally released on February 21, 2025, through RCA Records, spawning hits like “Sports Car,” “Revolving Door,” “It’s Ok, I’m Ok,” and “2 Hands.” These singles all charted on the Billboard Hot 100, showcasing McRae’s consistent commercial success as one of the leading voices of modern pop.
The album debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Billboard Canadian Albums charts during its first week, making it the most successful album of her career to date.
McRae is also celebrating her first-ever Grammy nomination, earning a nod for “Just Keep Watching”—her contribution to the F1: The Movie soundtrack—in the Best Dance Pop Recording category. Whether she takes home the award will be revealed on February 1, 2026, when the Grammy Awards are held.
Meanwhile, she recently wrapped up her Miss Possessive World Tour, her first sold-out arena tour. The tour kicked off in March 2025 and saw her perform across Canada, the US, the UK, and Mexico.
