Kingdom Film Festival Spotlights Christian Filmmakers on the National Stage

The Kingdom Film Festival returns this year with a bold new vision, bringing together young creatives and faith-based filmmakers under the theme “CREATORS UNIVERSE: Designing the Future with Films and Technology.”

Hosted at EbonyLife Cinemas, Victoria Island, Lagos, from November 27–28, 2025, the festival serves as a premier gathering for Christian filmmakers passionate about using visual storytelling to spread the word of God. The two-day event will feature a dynamic lineup of industry leaders, filmmakers, and innovators exploring how film and technology can serve as tools for divine cultural transformation. Attendees can look forward to workshops, masterclasses, screenings of exclusive films, and valuable networking opportunities.

As part of the celebration, the Kingdom Film Festival will also honour excellence in filmmaking through its awards, recognizing achievements across several categories, including Overall Best Smartphone Film, Overall Best Short Film, Best Smartphone Original Story, Best Smartphone Director, and Best Smartphone Producer.

Before the main event, Silverbird Cinemas.an official partner of the festival will host a screening of the officially selected films on November 26, 2025, at Silverbird Cinemas, Victoria Island. The selected films for the 2025 Kingdom Film Festival include Unbound, Forgiving the Nightmare, The Life, Mara, Battlefield of the Mind, and The Middleground.
