Nigerian media mogul Mosunmola Abudu, popularly known as Mo Abudu, has announced Weather For Two, a new film project set to premiere on December 14, 2025, on EbonyLife On Plus, her newly launched African streaming platform. She unveiled the trailer of the upcoming film on Instagram, with Nollywood stars Bucci Franklin, Chiwetalu Agu, Rachael Okonkwo, and Ebube Nwagbo entangled in an epic romance drama.
“Love gets complicated in Weather For Two. She’s hiding from an arranged marriage. He’s determined to win her heart. And she’s pretending not to understand a word he says,” she shared, hinting at the plot of Weather for Two.
As the film prepares for its official debut, it joins other upcoming unveiled December lineups launching on EbonyLife On Plus, including Warped, The Funeral, Fawu Raja, and What Women Really Think. With its rollout of local film content, the novel streamer aims to mitigate the distribution challenge in Africa, offering a more accessible and affordable streaming platform.
