Tyler Perry’s Sistas will return for its landmark tenth season on January 7 on BET, with notable changes to the cast and storyline. Newcomers Tunde Oyeneyin and Jordan Coleman join the ensemble, bringing fresh characters to the series.
Oyeneyin plays Madison Truitt, a successful entrepreneur navigating a male-dominated industry while searching for a partner who matches her ambition and emotional depth. Coleman portrays Cheyenne Barnes, a sharp-tongued hairstylist whose bold exterior hides years of emotional scars.
Original cast members; Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown, who have been with the series since its 2019 debut, will not return as regulars. Obsidian played Karen Mott, and although Brown’s departure has been confirmed, it remains unclear whether Obsidian will appear to conclude her character’s arc.

Returning cast includes KJ Smith, Mignon, Crystal Renee Hayslett, Angela Beyince, Devale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Chris Warren, and Monti Washington. Season 10 picks up after last season’s events, promising high-stakes drama, shifting loyalties, and emotional reckonings.
Produced by Tyler Perry Studios, written by Courtney Glaude, and directed by Armani Ortiz, the series continues to follow single Black women navigating love, careers, and friendship amid social media and modern dating pressures.
