A Very Dirty Christmas, the 2025 festive action drama produced by Nollywood actress Ini Edo, is set to premiere in selected cinemas across the United Kingdom on January 23, 2026.

 

The UK release was announced via a collaborative social media post by Evrit Films, the film’s distributor in the territory. The post included details about the film’s synopsis, cast, crew and select scene teasers.

 

Set during the Christmas season, A Very Dirty Christmas follows Jade, a stripper whose sudden disappearance forces her three sisters into a dangerous search. Their journey exposes a counterfeit drug syndicate with unexpected links to their father, Don Phil.

The film is directed by Akay Mason, known for Red Circle, and stars Ini Edo, IK Ogbonna, Wumi Toriola, Phyna, Femi Branch and Nancy Isime. The story unfolds against the backdrop of Lagos during the festive period, exploring themes of family, survival and buried secrets.

 

The upcoming UK premiere comes after the film crossed the ₦100 million mark at the Nigerian box office, placing it among the top 10 contending local releases and marking a key milestone for Edo’s cinema debut.
