Olive Nwosu has unveiled the official poster for her debut feature Lady, ahead of its screenings at two major international film festivals.

The poster comes as the film secured a spot in the Panorama section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), running from February 12 to 22, 2026. Lady is currently the only Nigerian entry in the festival’s lineup. The film has also been selected for the Sundance Film Festival in the Competition category, where it screened on January 24, 2026, in Utah.

Set in Lagos, Lady follows a resilient woman navigating a male-dominated society while supporting herself and her grandmother.

The film features an ensemble cast including Jessica Gabriel’s Ujah, Amanda Oruh, Tinuade Jemiseye, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Seun Kuti, and Bucci Franklin.

Lady joins other African entries in this year’s Berlinale selection, including Paradise (a Canada/France/Ghana co-production by Jérémy Comte) and Safe Exit from Egyptian director Mohammed Hanmand in Panorama, as well as Morocco’s Ahmed Bouanani’s Assarab (Mirage) in Berlinale Classics and Sam Pollard’s Tutu in Berlinale Specials.

The screenings at Sundance and Berlinale mark the international debut of Lady, giving audiences across multiple regions the opportunity to view the film and engage with its themes.
