Mo Abudu has teased Where Is Chioma Kalu (WICK), an upcoming EbonyLife ON Plus original feature set to premiere on the streaming platform.
Abudu shared a behind-the-scenes video from the production on Instagram, revealing Nancy Isime in the lead role. The footage also shows co-stars Daniel Etim Effiong and Blessing Jessica Obasi on set.
The film is directed by Kayode Kasum, whose previous credits include Soole (2021) and Obara’M (2022). According to Abudu, the project forms part of EbonyLife ON Plus’ push to deliver original African content across film, television and podcasts.
With the teaser, Where Is Chioma Kalu joins the platform’s growing slate of originals, including Queens Don’t Crawl, The Mo and Ted Podcast and What Women Really Think.
Beyond the cast and director, further details about the film’s plot and release date have not yet been announced.
