Onobiren, a Nollywood drama produced by Laju Iren, has crossed the N100 million mark at the Nigerian box office, reaching N100.5 million within 20 days of its release.

The milestone positions the film as the second-highest-grossing Nollywood title of 2026 so far, behind Love and New Notes, produced by Timini Egbuson.

Iren confirmed the update on social media, expressing appreciation to audiences for the film’s performance since its theatrical debut.

Directed by Famous Odion Iraoya, Onobiren features a cast that includes Patience Ozokwor, Deyemi Okanlawon, Norbert Young, Bisola Aiyeola, and Desmond Bryce.

Produced in collaboration with African No Filter and CcHUB Creative Economy, Onobiren marks Iren’s first cinema release.

Its box office performance continues a strong run for Nollywood titles in 2026, with locally produced films maintaining a visible presence in the market.
