Dhurandar: The Revenge has earned ₦60.9 million in its first full week in Nigerian cinemas.
According to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN), the four-day ₦53 million opening weekend, inclusive of ₦8.1 million Thursday pre-sales. The aforementioned presales alone ranked 10th for the March 13 to 19 week.
Not only did the film’s ₦60.9 million first week tally top the Nigerian box office- a first for Bollywood- but it is also the highest-grossing Bollywood outing in Nigeria.
Notably, it performed more than twice the next best competitor for the week, Love and New Notes (₦28.3 million). However, it must be noted that the latter Nollywood has never charted lower than the No.2 position since its six-week life so far.
Dhurandar: The Revenge is performing even better in its domestic and global markets. The film’s $81 million film now stands as the second-biggest global opening ever for an Indian title.
Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandar: The Revenge is the sequel to his 2025 spy-action thriller, Dhurandar.
