Is God Is, an upcoming American thriller written and directed by Aleshea Harris will theatrically premiere on May 15, exploring the revenge and rage of two black women.
Kara Young and Mallori Johnson portray Racine and Anaia, twin sisters on an epic quest for revenge. Racine is the rough one while Anaia is the quiet one. Both sisters have disfiguring burn scars caused by their abusive father.
When their ought to be dead bedridden mother orders them to kill their father, this forces them to face a complex family history as they must choose between revenge or mercy.

Is God Is is based on Harris’s 2018 play of the same title with themes of revenge, rage and redemption. Distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, Riva Marker, Janicza Bravo, Tessa Thompson and Kishori Rajan are producers.
Is God Is will be theatrically released under Orion Pictures on May 15.
