Scary Movie 6, an upcoming American parody directed by Michael Tiddes, will officially hit cinemas on June 5, 2026. It is the sixth installment in the Scary Movie film series, following Scary Movie 5, which was released in 2013.
The previous film centered on Dan and Jody’s lives as they are disrupted by the arrival of their nieces and nephews.
Scary Movie 6 stars Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans, alongside returning cast members including Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Jon Abrahams, and Anthony Anderson.
The new installment follows Cindy Campbell and her friends Ray Wilkins, Shorty, and Brenda Meeks as they reunite to confront a masked killer who resurfaces after 26 years, tracing back to the events of the original 2000 film.
Produced by Paramount Pictures, Scary Movie 6 carries multiple production credits including Rick Alvarez, Jonathan Glickman, Alexandra Loewy, Neal H. Moritz, Marsha L. Swinton, Craig Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Marc Weinstock, and Thom Zadra.
