Blood Sisters 2,produced by EbonyLife Studios, picks up directly after the cliffhanger of the first season, with Kemi (Nancy Isime) and Sarah (Ini Dima-Okojie) now facing a new nemesis in prison.
The first season follows Sarah and Kemi as their lives spiral into chaos after Kemi accidentally kills Sarah’s abusive husband on the eve of her wedding, turning both women into fugitives.
Set against the backdrop of Lagos’ elite society, the series blends suspense, family drama, and crime thriller elements to tell the story of two sisters who will do anything to protect each other, including concealing a dark secret.

The second season arrives four years after the show’s Netflix debut on May 5, 2022. The first installment became one of the platform’s most successful and widely discussed African originals.
Nollywood directors Kayode Kasum and Daniel Oriahi jointly helm the new season, which brings back familiar faces alongside new cast members. Returning stars include Ini Dima-Okojie, Nancy Isime, Kate Henshaw, and Kehinde Bankole. Others joining the ensemble include Uche Jombo, Segun Arinze, Patrick Doyle, Jessica Obasi, Genoveva Umeh, Etim Effiong, Bolaji Ogunmola, and Mike Afolarin.
With its expanded cast and layered storyline, Blood Sisters 2 promises heightened tension, deeper family conflict, and a continuation of the unresolved finale, which saw Timeyin point a gun at Uduak, alongside lingering consequences of Sarah and Kemi’s crimes.
Blood Sisters 2 premieres globally on Netflix on June 5, 2026.
