Nigerian music veteran Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced plans to release a new album titled Oldest Young Man.
The singer revealed the project on social media, sharing a brief but reflective message alongside the announcement.
“I’ve lived it. I’ve seen it. I’m still here. My new album, OLDEST YOUNG MAN, soon come,” he wrote.
The title has already drawn attention from fans, with many reacting to the contrast between age and youth suggested by Oldest Young Man.

The announcement comes as 2Baba begins his eight-city tour, The Baba Experience. The tour kicked off in London on August 21 and is expected to take the singer to several cities as he reconnects with audiences through his catalogue and live performances.
While 2Baba has not revealed the album’s tracklist, release date or featured artistes, further details are expected to emerge ahead of its release.
Oldest Young Man will mark another chapter in the career of one of Nigeria’s most enduring music stars, whose career has spanned decades and produced some of the country’s most recognised songs.
