Nigerian writers Chimemeka Osuagwu and Isaac Ayodeji have been selected among 14 participants for the 2026 edition of Serial Bridges Accra, a mentorship and training programme for TV series creators in Ghana and West Africa.
The five-day programme, which began August 31 and runs through September 4, brings together writers and producers from Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and The Gambia for intensive mentorship and industry sessions focused on developing their series projects.
Other participants include Elvis Damptey, Sulayman Saye, Vivian Bintou Adams, Tamara Aihie, Bouba Diop, Peter Ayivor, Nana Jofi Asihene, Lawrence Aphua Larbi-Amoah, Fidaus Sulemana, Majeed Suhuyini, Maame Adjei and Mieke Turkson.
The selected creators are participating in writer-producer duos, working through the programme to develop their projects with guidance from industry mentors and professionals.
The programme will culminate September 4 with participants pitching their developed series projects before an industry audience and a panel of professional judges.
Serial Bridges Accra is focused on supporting the development of TV series projects while creating opportunities for creators across West Africa to engage with industry professionals and potential collaborators.
