Making good on their commitment to highlighting African content on the streaming screen, Amazon Prime Video released a new film titled “L.I.F. E” starring Omowunmi Dada and Efe Irele on Feb. 15.

They play the roles of Ema and Yinka respectively, two women from divergent backgrounds who are unsatisfied with their current lot in life. As they wish for something better, an interesting turn of events leads the women to cross paths.

“L.I.F. E is written and directed by filmmaker Uyoyou Adia, popularly known for her films “Nneka the Pretty Serpent,” “Hey You,” and “Charge and Bail.”

“L.I.F. E” will reunite Adia and Irele; Irele took on the lead role in her erotic drama “Hey You.”

Starring alongside Dada and Irele are Jay Paul, Debo “Mr. Macaroni” Adedayo, Eso Dike, Kate Adepegba, Olarotimi Fakunle, and Tope Olowoniyan.

Judith Audu produces the film. Toyin Odukoya oversaw the cinematography.
