Ruth Kadiri, known for her success and roles in various Nollywood films and on YouTube, is set to debut her latest film, “Alaye”, on Prime Video from July 5th. This marks Kadiri’s first venture onto a major streaming platform.
“Alaye” centers on Catherine (Ruth Kadiri), whose life is upended when she takes in a stranger, Funmi (Broda Shaggi). The unfolding events lead to unforeseen chaos and challenges.
The film features a talented ensemble cast including Rosie, Monica Friday, Eddie Watson, Zicsaloma, Oby Titus, Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggy and Atewe Raphael. Directed by Okey Ufeanyi, with Kadiri as executive producer, “Alaye” offers a compelling narrative with unexpected twists.
Kadiri’s move to Prime Video highlights her expanding influence in the film industry.
