The film follows the story of an ex-car smuggler who finds himself in a race against time to save a kidnapped girl.
As he navigates the dangerous world of political mobs and criminal underworlds, he must rely on his wits and skills to deliver the girl to safety, while confronting the demons of his past.
“Tokunbo” marks the third feature film directed by Ramsey Nouah, and stars a talented ensemble cast, including Gideon Okeke, Adunni Ade, Darasimi Nnadi, Tosin Adeyemi, and Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi.
The film is produced by Chris Odeh, with co-production by Joy Odiete. Mohammed Attah lends his expertise as the Director of Photography, capturing the film’s narrative and dynamic visuals.
“Tokunbo” explores themes of redemption, survival, and the complexities of human relationships amidst a backdrop of crime and political intrigue.
