Netflix is adding to its spooky season lineup with “It’s What’s Inside”, a horror thriller set to premiere on the streaming platform on October 4, 2024.
The film takes a familiar concept—curiosity leading to horror—and gives it a chilling twist.
“It’s What’s Inside” follows a group of friends at a pre-wedding party who find themselves in a nightmarish situation after opening a mysterious suitcase brought by an estranged friend. The suitcase contains wires that tap into the brain, causing hallucinations and revealing dark secrets among the group.
The film stars Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Devon Terrell, Gavin Leatherwood, Reina Hardesty, Nina Bloomgarden, and David W. Thompson.
Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2024, “It’s What’s Inside” received positive reviews from critics and later screened at South by Southwest in March 2024.
The film also holds an 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes currently.
Directed and written by Greg Jardin, the film is executive-produced by Colman Domingo and Robert Kapp.
