“Everything Is New Again” Grosses ₦18M In Debut Week

Inkblot Productions’ romantic drama opens strong, landing in the top five of Nigeria’s weekly box office chart.

Inkblot Productions’ romantic drama Everything Is New Again has grossed ₦18 million in its first full week in cinemas.

 

According to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN), the total includes a ₦13 million opening weekend and a Monday-to-Thursday cumulative of ₦5.2 million.

 

The performance placed the film fifth on Nigeria’s weekly box office chart, above Avatar: Fire and Ash (₦14.9 million) but below Alive Till Dawn (₦25.6 million).

 

The film centres on a passionate relationship between a younger man and an older woman, challenging societal expectations around love and companionship. Through this dynamic, it explores themes of second chances, family pressure, and the pursuit of personal happiness.

 

The cast features Mercy Aigbe and Vince Oluguhead, alongside Nancy Isime, Desmond Elliott, Gbubemi Ejeye, Gbemi Akinlade, Angel Unigwe, Olumide Oworu, Abayomi Alvin, and Shammah Agah.
