Released on April 17, 2025, the film entered a crowded weekend lineup featuring three other new titles; Lee Cronin’s The Mummy (₦18.1 million), Normal (₦7.1 million), and Bhooth Bangla (₦5.4 million). The film had earlier made its festival debut at AFRIFF 2024 in Lagos, screening on November 4 at The Palms. Written by Tamara Aihie and Emil Garuba, and set in Lagos, it follows a former teenage boxing champion, Femi, who attempts to return to the ring to save his trainer’s gym and rebuild his life.
