Gothic romance drama Wuthering Heights has hit the $150 million mark at the global box office after its second weekend in theaters.

The Emerald Fennell adaptation lost the top spot at the U.S. box office to Sony’s Goat ($17 million), but no less grossed a strong $14.2 million. This represents a 56.7% drop from the $43 million five-day debut and a $60 million domestic cume, according to industry analyst, Luiz Fernando.

Overseas, the film grossed $26.3 million from 78 markets (a 41.6% drop) for a $91.7 million international cume.

Wuthering Heights’ $151.7 million haul so far (against a production budget of $80 million) makes it the second-highest-grossing film of 2026 so far, behind Chinese hit Pegasus 3 ($378 million).

Analysts predict the film to gross at lesst $100 million domestically and $250 million, barring any downward changes in momentum.

Wuthering Heights stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, respectively in an obsessive and destructive romance that shakes the Yorkshire moors
