American Director and Producer, Steve Carr, known for classics Daddy Day Care (2003) and Are We Done Yet (2007) is set to debut his latest film, A Merry Little Ex-Mas, on Noverember 12, 2025 on Netflix.
Featuring a blend of festivity and chaos, A Merry Little Ex-Mas stars Alicia Silvertone and Oliver Hudson as an estranged couple. Kate, played by Silverstone, is recently divorced and longs for one last perfect family Christmas.
Her plans go awry when her ex-husband Everett, portrayed by Hudson, introduces his younger, successful new girlfriend. What begins as a quest for holiday perfection quickly devolves into a chaotic and tense celebration.

In supporting roles, Pierson Fode, Melissa Joan Hart, Jameela Jamil, Timothy Innes, Linda Kash and Emily Hall are among the ensemble cast for the upcoming Netflix-distributed project.
Written by Holly Hester, A Merry Little Ex-Mas is produced by Melissa Joan Hart and Paula Hart for Hartbreak Films while Silvertone, aside from her lead role, doubles as an executive producer.
