“Egun,” a Nigerian horror film, prepares to hit theaters nationwide on Nov. 10.
Produced by Ife Olujuyige, “Egun” delves into the darker facets of the corporate realm, offering a fresh perspective on the terrors that can lurk in this seemingly ordinary world.
Written by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan, “Egun” immerses us in the lives of a corporate office that unwittingly receives a package filled with mysterious and supernatural contents. A chilling phone call soon follows, foretelling the grim fate of all who have encountered the enigmatic package.
The film, directed by Carmen Ike Okoro, features a talented ensemble cast, including Gideon Okeke, Omowunmi Dada, Uzor Arukwe, Femi Jacobs, Bolaji Ogunmola, Adedimeji Lateef, Olarotimi Fakunle, Yekini Ibrahim, Vee Iye, Tomike Adeoye, Darasim Nadi, Ejiro Onajaife, and Taye Arimoro.
The recently released trailer teases the chaotic and intense struggle for survival that unfolds within the office’s walls.
Principal photography for the film concluded in September 2023, marking a collaborative effort between Singularity Media, Film Trybe, and Film One.
