A new Nollywood drama, ‘’Family Brouhaha’’, will be released in cinemas nationwide on April 11, 2025.
Directed by Femi Adebayo, the film tells the story of a troubled family dealing with long-standing issues that come to the surface when inheritance becomes a topic of discussion.
At the centre is a mother who watches her children lose sight of their roles and values. Their growing obsession with inheritance keeps them from understanding one another’s pain, and eventually, a shocking turn of events forces the family to confront uncomfortable truths.
The story follows three generations of a once-united Nigerian family known for their successful cocoa business across different regions of the country. After the death of the matriarch, long-standing tensions rise to the surface. The future of their wealth and legacy now depends on whether they can find a way to come together or risk losing everything.
The film features a well-known cast, including Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Joke Silva, Shaffy Bello, Bimbo Akintola, Wale Ojo, Timini Egbuson, and Fathia Williams..
‘’Family Brouhaha’’ blends drama, emotion, and a bit of humour to reflect how deep-rooted conflict can shake the foundations of even the closest families.
