Nigerian filmmaker Dele Doherty is set to release his feature debut, “Landline,” on Prime Video on April 25, 2025.

Written and directed by Doherty, the psychological thriller centres on a woman trapped in a time loop, using a single phone call as the thread connecting multiple lives. The film explores the boundaries between reality and the afterlife, drawing viewers into a world where nothing is quite what it seems.

Shot across two interior locations with a minimalist cast, “Landline” stars Zainab Balogun as Shalewa, alongside Bucci Franklin and Gabriel Afolayan, who plays Kola. The film also features voice performances from Durotimi Owa, Femi Doherty, Emmanuel Rain, Justin Ben, and Toke Benson.

With its slow-burning suspense and narrative twists, “Landline” promises to offer a fresh take on the psychological thriller within Nollywood’s growing genre space.
The film will be available to stream globally on Prime Video from April 25.
