Action star Jason Statham is back to his familiar crime-thriller roots in “A Working Man”, set to hit theaters worldwide on March 28, 2025.
This film marks Statham’s second collaboration with director David Ayer, following their work together on “The Beekeeper.” (2024)
In “A Working Man”, Statham portrays a retired Royal Marines veteran turned construction worker who has settled into a quiet, peaceful life. However, his calm existence is shattered when his boss’s daughter is kidnapped by human traffickers. With no time to waste, he is forced to rely on his military training and every resource at his disposal to find her before she disappears forever.
Known for his roles in action-packed, revenge-driven films, Statham’s character in “A Working Man” follows a familiar path. Still, it remains to be seen whether the film will bring anything new to the genre. Ayer directs and produces the film, with a script co-written by him and Golden Globe winner Sylvester Stallone.
Joining Statham in the film are David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas, Noemi Gonzalez, and Eve Mauro, rounding out the star-studded cast.
